i seen the movie and i like it,i used the sites above to try the math and Ive done a few of them and non have anything to do with 666, but i was reading and isn't 3 am the hour of the dead or something like that in the movie the exorcist of Emily rose, plus isn't time a thing made up, and isn't numbers a thing made up, so 3 am and 666 or even the scary number 13 would have to be something that is man made to scare people, plus the bible is full of things to scary one to believing in god, going to church, and PAYING 15% of Ur total wage, so tria mera or even as "zemekos" put it "Triti Mera"is just a word meaning third day, its nothing to do with god or devil or even as it is said in the bible about on the third day we die we see god, and no the makers of the movie wasn't under the devils powers hes just a movie maker, nothing more is needed to prove that it equals 666 or it has any real meaning besides third day

The number 3  according to the symbolism of numbers it is relied to the trinity. when you triple this number 333 it becomes more powerfull.
It is the very opposite of the number of the beast so it can't be associate to that 666 number. I am surprise that some producer trying to joined this two opposite symbole in one in the movie but it work...they made us speaking about the possibility of it.

I suggest that you look more carefully the symbolism of number before trying to search any explaination of Tria Mera. When you know what numbers mean you can't be fooled by some producers who trying to make you believed anything.

Personnally I almost slept during the Movie White Noise 2. It was not as credible as the first who really shows what is EVP.

In the exorcism of Emily Rose well they choose the 3 O clock because there is no 6 during the night...it was a logical choice. Even if it's a true story...it is not mean that is not have been modify for the cinema.

So don't be fooled to according credits when there are none.

I hope you guys realise that the movie itself is based off of mainly folk lores, myths, legends, and some reality.  I have friends who are mediums, psychics, and have dealt with spirits.  However, there are so many things incorrect in the movies.  Tria Mera does not exist.  The number 666 is the number used because 6 actually represents Mankind.  We fall short of God's glory.  His number is 7, the number of perfection.  Use 6 in a row, and you strengthen it's meaning.  The meaning God intented for us to see, as well as Satan being against God, using a number that still falls short of Him.  If you choose not to believe, me I'm sorry, but I do my research before I spout information.  I do my best to help others understand what's really going on.  I am also a psychic, with claircognizance and clairsentience as my strengths.  However, I do what I can to allow my gifts to glorify our Creator, not myself.  If it wasn't for God, I would be dead, literally.  God gives life and He takes it away.  Regardless of what Satan does, God will still work it out for the good.  Just because sin separates us from Him does not mean His power is weakened.  However, if you want to be superstitious, go ahead.  You're just feeding the fire and helping the movie get across to more people, lol.  God doesn't work on superstition, but His own glory  

Regardless, the movie was wonderful, and great entertainment.  Shows a movie can be clean without silly sex scenes or pointless cussing.

after watching the movie The Number 23, i kinda got into seeing everything that had to do with me and 23. My name, adress, phone number, birthday, fav color, everything.. all my passwords. Lol anyways. I eventaully got to this site and started to read your Tria Mera stuff. Some got 666, while others got 557?

Lol, yeah. 23 is the easiest number to work with, just like 9 in alchemy, because 2 & 3 are prime numbers.  I have a friend who's birthdate is on the 23, and also a cusp for the Western Zodiac.  She feels practically screwed as a result.

from the research that i did...that is what it means...i never said that you can't help people...all i said that the theory of Tria Mera is that, if you save someone from death, then  you cheat death out of a soul...and death will come back and collect what was his to begin with.  Doesn't mean it really happens, just that is what the myth is. Now whether you believe it or not is up to you.

I wish everyone would realize it's a myth. In reality, if you save someone, you were meant to. Allison Dubois would be dead or in "tria mera" already if it was possible.  Honestly, she dreams about people in danger, already dead, etc.  She even knows how people are going to die, but not always when.  I personally have had dreams of what friends are just about to go into.   I believe that humans have a spiritual connection that is almost unexplainable.  But tria mera really does sound like a superstion. I believe in crazy things, but that's just too crazy for me, lol.  But it's great fiction

On a side note, if we were forbidden to help people in need, or near death, then what's the point of having doctors, nurses, or EMT's?  Heck, they'd all be going through Tria Mera! The world would be in chaos!  Unless they're immune and we don't know it. Dang, we could really go off on a tangent.

Well, TRIA MERA is not correct at all. Many members said that TRIA MERA is actually TRITH MERA(Tρίτη Μέρα).

In Greek Tria means Three (3). So it's not correct to say ΤΡΙΑ ΜΕΡΑ = 3 ΜΕΡΑ

It is like you say 3 DAY = THREE DAY instead of THIRD DAY = 3rd DAY

All this stuff has been modified obviously to fit the purposes of this movie.

When I first heard TRIA MERA, I couldn't believe that.

Well, in my opinion, the only true thing in this movie is the Electronic Voice Phenomenon(EVP).

The thing about saving others and cheating death is dumb. According to the movie, when you save someone, you know that within 3 days he will kill innocent people, because he hears voices that tell him to KILL.
That's crazy. The people who are saved on a daily basis KILL on the third day (Tρίτη Μέρα), then we would all be dead.
